About Us
Our Focus
Our church focus will be on youth of all ages. While there is a trend in the African American community of single parent households there are a larger number of un-churched households in the community. The result is that there are a great number of children who grow up not knowing the importance of having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Like any other epidemic, if these youth don’t learn about Christ, then their children will more and likely not know Christ. We want to focus on the youth as a target audience because in large numbers, this group lacks adult intervention that should give spiritual direction and encouragement.
Walk with, Worship, and Work for Christ !
The process of sanctification and maturity is key to the healthy growth of the church.A person committed to a relationship with Christ focuses on personally walking with Him, worshipping Him, and working for Him. That person will experience significant growth in personal sanctification therefore developing a closer relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. The experiences will help promote a person's maturity in Christ - Colossians 1:28
Multiplication of ministry is key to the healthy growth of the church.
God has given spiritual gifts to all of His people to provide mutual ministry in the context of the healthy and strong local church. We believe the disciples of Jesus Christ should minister to one another in the local church. Our church encourages each member to take an active role in the development of the body of Christ. - Ephesians 4:11-12.
